At North Coast Rentals your safety is our highest priority. We want you to create memorable experiences with us and that can only become possible if certain rules and regulations are respected. It is of paramount importance that you comply with the following rules of the Greek Port Authority:

• No license is required for boats up to 30hp outboard engine.
• The driver has to be over 18 years old.
• Prior to renting and operating a boat you must be briefed on safety regulations and additional information by one of our captains.
• Make sure to have at least one fully charged and functioning cellular device.
• When operating the boat in shallow waters you must make sure that the engine is protected by using the "power trim" feature/button that will slightly lift the engine insurance no damage.
• As you put out to sea you must maintain a speed of no more than 5 km per hour until you reach a safe distance of 200 meters from the coast.
• When operating any of our boats you must make sure that you maintain a distance of at least 150 meters from any diving activity (free diving, snorkeling, spearfishing etc).
• The boat must be returned in the same condition as it was prior to you renting it. Any damage must be reported.
• The main operator of the boat (captain) is responsible for the safety of other passengers.
• Check all safety features and equipment prior to on boarding.
• While operating the boat you must hold the "Quick Stop Rope" at all times for your safety.
• Do not use the anchor in deep waters (more than 15 meters deep).
• When using the anchor of the boat , ensure that the anchor has safely settled, and turn off the engine prior to entering the water
